Bow Wow and a woman were arrested for assaulting each other in the wee hours of the morning.

Bow Wow and Kiyomi Leslie

According to WSB-TV in Atlanta, Bow Wow was arrested 4:15 when police officers apprehended him and a woman identified as Leslie Holden on assault charges. It turns out, Bow Wow and Holden were embroiled in some kind of dispute, when things turned physical. The arresting officers were said to be unsure who amongst the two of ’em was the aggressor, so both parties were handed the same “assault & battery” charge indiscriminately – at which point Holden and Moss were separately transported to the Fulton County Jail made famous by Johnny Cash.

Bow Wow was promoting his mother’s pop-up shop in Atlanta during Super Bowl Weekend, evidence of which exists in the above Twitter posting. But in Bow Wow will be hard pressed to gain much leverage in the situation, based on that alone. Bow Wow’s current dealings have him moonlighting as a Reality Television when he isn’t stop-and-starting his album rollout. Leslie Holden, on the other hand, is far less of a public figure. Both parties sustained minor injuries during the altercation, occurring on the 200 block of 12th Street, Atlanta – the incident reportedly taking place on the front steps of a Midtown building. Little else is known as of right now.

Police say both were being processed and would be taken to the Fulton County jail. A later update from TMZ revealed that Fulton County Sheriff’s Office told them Moss has been charged with Battery Substantial Physical Harm, conflicting with earlier reports that both had only minor injuries.

The website reports that Moss’ bail has been set to $8,000. Bow Wow has since been released on bond.  He lives in Atlanta and has been part of the cast of Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
